Branding Wisdom
1. Go big or go home
Invest and commit – the more you put in, the more you get out. Every decision you make influences the direction your company takes. No revolutionary ideas were born from taking it easy or playing it safe.
2. Get organised
Understanding exactly what you need to deliver will ensure success. Carefully map out your daily, weekly and monthly to-do lists – meticulous planning is essential. Sitting back and hoping to reach your targets or goals is not an option.
3. Empty diary, empty business
Never have empty space in your diary – it means you wait for things to happen, rather than making them happen. Time is everything, and the way you use it reflects your character and business.
4. It’s all about the follow through
If you have an idea, get on it immediately. Act on your game plan. This is particularly important in a target driven industry, but is sound advice for any business. Follow through is what sets dreamers apart from achievers.
5. People first
A successful business is the result of a passionate and fulfilled staff complement. Always look for motivated individuals that are keen to progress, and can stick to a plan. Nurturing staff is vital for continued excellence.
6. Sell the experience
Showing people a product – and all the bells and whistles included – is easy. Getting them to buy into an experience is a lot more interesting. Creating an interactive experience gives customers more than just a product and nurtures loyalty. Everyone wants to be part of something. Recognising that will put you in a league of your own.
7. Always be on the hunt for what’s new and exciting
You may have an amazing business idea this year, but that idea needs to be relevant in five years. Stay abreast of new trends relevant to your product or start trends yourself. You’re only as good as your latest offering.
8. Give them what they want
Look for innovation from your customers – they’re the ones who are most critical and know what they want.
9. Network, network, network
Keep good company that will help boost your business. Surround yourself with intelligent people who can be a source of constant learning. Get involved with professional organisations to interact with like-minded individuals.
10. Views, tweets, likes – find your brand its match
If you don’t have an online presence you’ll get left behind. Use social media as a tool to stay relevant and connected. Share product experiences in different ways that suit your offering, and look for honest feedback.

Ionic DeZign Studios Hits Growth Spurt
It all started thirteen and a half years ago. Out of the front living room and dining room of the Thompson household and then into it's office near town center in Virginia Beach. Slowly and steadily (minus the economic speed bump of 2009) IONIC has been progressively getting a little bit bigger and doing a bit more and more. Where once we were limited to focus on a select area of work within a certain distance within Virginia's borders, we now have projects in Pennsylvania, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. There are only a few in those distant states so I don't want to sound like we are bigger than we are but that is still a beginning.Thursday, February 7, 2013
What's Next? Design & Cost of Your New Home
Building Dream Homes by Design
Architecture -Design and Cost
Upon acceptance of the Pre-Construction Agreement, Team IONIC will begin the process of design. Over a period of approximately 6 months, our architects and designers will schedule periodic design meetings with you to review the plan in progress and receive additional feedback. Long distance communication is not a problem; electronic files and overnight mailings work great. With today's technology we are able to hold Internet meetings and communicate digitally without delay. We have worked with consultants in England and France on past projects and met with great success.
In addition to visiting with our architects, you will also be meeting with our interior designers at intervals to determine selections and finishes for costing purposes. IONIC will prepare periodic cost updates during the design process if desired.
Construction Documents
As design development continues and is completed, IONIC will prepare final Construction Drawings, Specifications and Selections for Final Cost Analysis. These Construction Documents are very comprehensive, engineered and detailed while representing our collective collaboration to prepare your dream home. These documents also represent our commitment to you for a successful construction experience. They will be attached as exhibits to the construction contract along with proposals for the contract price by qualified general contractors or by our CA management division. We will be ready for a quick construction start without delays of re-design due to cost overruns.
From the earliest design stages to the final construction Team IONIC will provide first rate services in every way. We want you to thoroughly enjoying the building process of your house all the way until the time you walk thru its doors and it becomes your home. This is what sets us apart from other competitors.
